Throwback Thursday - May 2017

Here we are at the end of May and the last of our May throwbacks.

Me and Scott took our first trip to Florida together in May 2017, it was the first time for Scott and I'd been many times before but a lot had changed since the last time I had been.

I'll be putting these in no particular order, other than the order they came to mind to write about.

First up, we have Cheetah Hunt at Busch Gardens Tampa. I'd never been on it as it was constructed not long after my last visit, and despite the abysmal loading (It took FOREVER) I quite enjoyed this, it's not great and it wouldn't make my top 10, but an enjoyable coaster.

Next up, some animals! If you go to Busch Gardens and don't take some time to look at the amazing animals they have there then you're doing it all wrong! Those monkeys look like me sat questioning what in the heck my 2 year old is up to.

Special mention for Scorpion. A simple yet fun coaster that I would really miss from this park if it were to go, there's just something about it, it just belongs here and feels right to be here.

So next up we have Epcot. I'm not a massive fan of the park as a whole, but I do enjoy parts of it.

The main thing I have to show from Epcot is Scott in a phone box;

Next we have MGM..... err, Disney's Hollywood Studios as it is now. I do love this park, but I feel it deserves a far more grand entrance!

It always feels so daft taking these photos but they come out so good!

As you can see from the clouds, we soon got a good Florida soaking, I've never been anywhere that's rained as epic as it does there. I believe it wasn't long after these photos.

Lots of work still going on, we were a little too early for Slinky Dog.

I especially love this park at night, especially the walk out after Fantasmic! A bit of a faff going in so early, but it is a great show.

Next up, Magic Kingdom!

What a terrifying view! But really, it wasn't as busy as I've seen MK so I think we got lucky really.

This is one thing that frustrates me, WHY DO PEOPLE DUMP THEIR PUSHCHAIRS???? Honestly, it's not difficult to put them neatly!

Parade time! I got tones of photos of this, but we might be here till next Thursday going through them.

This guy was my favourite, so pretty!

Moving on, Splash Mountain is definitely one of the best rides in the park, but has one of the worst queues.

The Haunted Mansion! The tomb stones are all pretty good through the queue, but this is a personal favourite.

We made the most of our photo pass at Disney, although quite surprisingly, the queues for the characters weren't as long as I'd seen in the past, but trust this to be the time when the photo pass went wrong and a load of our photos didn't make it to us. Scott was feeling particularly daft for this one;

The Adventure Begins! Universal Islands of Adventure, I LOVE this park, and I LOVE this coaster! This was the first time I'd got the chance to ride the Hulk since the re-track; I still love it!

I'm not a fan at all of the films, but the Jurassic Park area of the park is fantastic!

Let's give it up there shall we, going through all of my Florida photos I've got so many and there's only so long we need this blog to be, so we'll end at the end of the day at Islands of Adventure, a fantastic park and I can't wait to visit again sometime.
